About the Role
At EmbeddedVector, we help organizations deliver automotive software faster by combining deep technical expertise with practical engineering execution.
We are looking for a Senior AUTOSAR Integration Engineer who understands not only how to configure AUTOSAR, but also how the complete ECU behaves as a system. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving integration challenges, understanding software architecture, and bridging the gap between configuration, application software, and validation.
You will work on real ECU programs involving communication stacks, system services, diagnostics, and software integration across multiple automotive platforms.
What You'll Do
- Configure, integrate, and validate Classic AUTOSAR software stacks.
- Generate and maintain ECU configurations using industry-standard AUTOSAR toolchains.
- Integrate BSW modules, application software, and communication services.
- Analyze and resolve software integration issues across multiple ECU layers.
- Support software architecture, system integration, and ECU bring-up activities.
- Develop and execute validation scenarios using simulation and network analysis tools.
- Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to technical decisions, architecture reviews, and integration strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of Classic AUTOSAR architecture and concepts.
- Experience integrating complex automotive software systems.
- Good understanding of communication, diagnostics, memory, and system service stacks.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to investigate issues across multiple software layers and identify root causes.
- Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges.
- Energetic, self-driven, and passionate about building reliable automotive software.
Nice to Have
- Experience with DaVinci, EB tresos, ETAS ISOLAR, or similar AUTOSAR toolchains.
- Experience with CAN simulation, validation, and automation workflows.
- Familiarity with CAPL scripting and network analysis tools.
- Exposure to gateway, body, powertrain, or battery management ECUs.
- Knowledge of diagnostics, bootloaders, cybersecurity, or functional safety concepts.
- Experience working with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or distributed engineering teams.
Why EmbeddedVector
You'll work on real automotive integration challenges while collaborating in a flexible, remote-first engineering environment focused on technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning. We value engineers who understand systems, enjoy solving difficult problems, and take pride in delivering production-grade software.
