BMS work is mixed-signal, isolated, networked, and unforgiving when something is wrong.
Instrumented the full chain: MC33775A cell controllers over isolated TPL into the BMU, through safety logic, and out to the vehicle network with diagnostics in a production-style UDS/DTC format.
Technical Overview
Hardware includes RD-K358BMU (S32K3-class BMU), RD33775ADSTEVB cell-controller boards, debug access, power profiling, oscilloscope measurement, and CAN-FD bus interfaces.
Network definition, bus budget, SecOC, rest-bus stimulation, and UDS flashing all run through the EmbeddedVector tool suite before hardware sessions.
Demo covers monitoring, balancing current measurement, fault injection (open-wire, over-voltage, over-temperature), and SoC/SoH reporting over CAN-FD.
